XILINX is the world leader in the design and creation of reprogrammable computer chips. They are based in Silicon Valley but are expanding in other geographical areas. This 120-acre site is located north of Denver. The new campus design was designed to be built over three phases. Phase one and parts of phase two have been designed and built, with a goal of employing 5,000 creative staff when fully built in 1.5m sf of space. The building forms, finishes and landscape were inspired by the front range agrarian architecture. The campus is comprised of an office prototype of varying floors, retreats, cafes, recreation facilities and other amenity buildings and spaces.
